Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox went to her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over 3 years. She survived on a student allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and she pondered what alternative path she might follow. Lennox began her career as a flute-player in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. The main part of her role was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her debut solo album Diva and it was released by 1992. The album garnered a lot of praise, both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her first solo album, and is a sequel to her art work created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a philanthropist, activist, and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. The album that Lennox released in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit songs, including Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks including No MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and the compilation album contain a variety of songs.
