Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5, 1956, on the outskirts of Woodland Hills California. Her father was an educator at school while her mother was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. At a young age McCormick enjoyed singing and dance and would often put on puppet shows for kids in the community. At the age of six, McCormick older, she was crowned her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called and asked if she'd be interested in entering the show business. McCormick was hired to star in her debut major part in 1964, in a tv commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. She did another commercial in 1964, for Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was cast as the lead role in Wind It up and It breaks, a production at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from 1200 kids to be one of the oldest twins on The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick, in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published in 2008 McCormick told of how in the fifth season of the show, she nearly lost her their virginity to sister Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book, Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia and Finding My True Voice that in the fifth season of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to actor Barry Williams. The incident would have happened as she describes. However, the timing of our romance was not the right one.
